Touhou Doujin

Chapter 17 - Maiden Illusionary Funeral Before and After

Touhou Doujin Favorite gw sepanjang masa :P

Maiden Illusionary Funeral Before and After

Pretty much, this doujin is centered on the idea on how Yukari and Yuyuko met and eventually become friends. The story continues into Yuyuko's death and the story leading up to Perfect Cherry Blossom. Also note, Yukari isn't like she is portrayed in the games in most of this doujin.

Yuri

Chapter 7 - YURI

sebelum nya saya akan me-review apa itu YURI ???

Yuri (百合?), also known by the wasei-eigo construction Girls Love (ガールズラブ, gāruzu rabu?), is a Japanese jargon term for content and a genre involving love between women in manga, anime, and related Japanese media. Yuri can focus either on the sexual or the emotional aspects of the relationship, the latter sometimes being called shōjo-ai by western fans.

The themes yuri deals with have their roots in the Japanese lesbian literature of early twentieth century, with pieces such as Yaneura no Nishojo by Nobuko Yoshiya. Nevertheless, it is not until the 1970s that lesbian-themed works began to appear in manga, by the hand of artists such as Ryoko Yamagishi and Riyoko Ikeda. The 1990s brought new trends in manga and anime, as well as in dōjinshi productions, along with more acceptance for this kind of content. In 2003 the first manga magazine specifically dedicated to yuri was launched under the name Yuri Shimai, followed by its revival Comic Yuri Hime, launched after the former was discontinued in 2004.

Although yuri originated in female-targeted (shōjo, josei) works, today it is featured in male-targeted (shōnen, seinen) ones as well.[8] Yuri manga from male-targeted magazines include titles such as Kannazuki no Miko and Strawberry Panic!, as well as those from Comic Yuri Hime's male-targeted sister magazine, Comic Yuri Hime S, which was launched in 2007.

Definition and semantic drift

Etymology

The word yuri (百合?) literally means "lily", and is a relatively common Japanese feminine name. In 1976, Itō Bungaku, editor of Barazoku (薔薇族?, lit. rose tribe), a magazine geared primarily towards gay men, first used the term yurizoku (百合族?, lit. lily tribe) in reference to female readers in the title of a column of letters called Yurizoku no heya (百合族の部屋?, lit. lily tribe's room). It is unclear whether this was the first instance of this usage of the term. Not all women whose letters appeared in this short-lived column were necessarily lesbians, but some were and gradually an association developed. For example, the tanbi magazine Allan (アラン, Aran?) began running a Yuri Tsūshin (百合通信?, "Lily Communication") personal ad column in July 1983 for "lesbiennes" to communicate. Along the way, many dōjinshi circles incorporated the name "Yuri" or "Yuriko" into lesbian-themed hentai (pornographic) dōjinshi, and the "zoku" or "tribe" portion of this word was subsequently dropped. Since then, the meaning has drifted from its mostly pornographic connotation to describe the portrayal of love, sex, and intimate emotional connections between women.

Japanese vs. western usage

As of 2009, the term yuri is used in Japan to mean the depiction of attraction between women (whether sexual or romantic, explicit or implied) in manga, anime, and related entertainment media, as well as the genre of stories primarily dealing with this content. The wasei-eigo construction "Girls Love" (ガールズラブ, gāruzu rabu?), occasionally spelled "Girl's Love" or "Girls' Love", or abbreviated as "GL", is also used with this meaning. Yuri is generally a form of fanspeak amongst fans, but its usage by authors and publishers has increased since 2005. The term "Girls Love", on the other hand, is primarily used by the publishers.

In North America, yuri has initially been used to denote only the most explicit end of the spectrum, deemed primarily as a variety of hentai. Following the pattern of shōnen-ai, a term already in use in North America to describe content involving non-sexual relationships between men, western fans coined the term shōjo-ai to describe yuri without explicit sex.In Japan the term shōjo-ai (少女愛?, lit. girl love) is not used with this meaning, and instead tends to denote pedophilia (actual or perceived), with a similar meaning to the term lolicon (Lolita complex). Still, the western use of yuri has broadened in the 2000s, picking up connotations from the Japanese use.[16] American publishing companies such as ALC Publishing and Seven Seas Entertainment have also adopted the Japanese usage of the term to classify their yuri manga publications.

Thematic history

Among the first Japanese authors to produce works about love between women ranks Nobuko Yoshiya, a novelist active in the Taishō and Shōwa periods of Japan, who pioneered in Japanese lesbian literature, including the early twentieth century Class S genre. This kind of stories depicts lesbian attachments as emotionally intense yet platonic relationships, destined to be curtailed by graduation from school, marriage, or death. The root of this is in part the contemporary understanding that same-sex love was a transitory and normal part of female development leading into heterosexuality and motherhood. Class S stories in particular tell about strong emotional bonds between schoolgirls, a mutual crush between an upperclassman and an underclassman.

Around the 1970s yuri began to appear in shōjo manga, presenting some of the characteristics found in the lesbian literature of the early twentieth century. This early yuri generally features an older looking, more sophisticated woman, and a younger, more awkward admirer. The two deal with some sort of unfortunate schism between their families, and when rumors of their lesbian relationship spread, they are received as a scandal. The outcome is a tragedy, with the more sophisticated girl somehow dying at the end. In general, the yuri manga of this time could not avoid a tragic ending, Ryoko Yamagishi's Shiroi Heya no Futari, the first manga involving a lesbian relationship, being a prime example. It is also in this period that shōjo manga began to deal with transsexualism and transvestism, sometimes depicting female characters as manly looking, which was inspired by the women playing male roles in the Takarazuka Revue. These traits are most prominent in Riyoko Ikeda's works, including The Rose of Versailles, Oniisama e... and Claudine...!. Some shōnen works of this period feature lesbian characters too, but these are mostly depicted as fanservice and comic relief.

Some of these formulas began to weaken during the 1990s: manga stories such as Jukkai me no Jukkai by Wakuni Akisato, published in 1992, began to move away from the tragic outcomes and stereotyped dynamics. This stand side-by-side with dōjinshi works, which at the time were largely influenced by the immense popularity of Sailor Moon, the first mainstream manga and anime series featuring a "positive" portrayal of an openly lesbian couple. Furthermore, many of the people behind this show went on to make Revolutionary Girl Utena, a shoujo anime series where the main storyline focuses on a yuri relationship, which is widely regarded today as a masterpiece. Male-targeted works such as the Devilman Lady anime series, based on a homonym seinen manga by Go Nagai, began to deal with lesbian themes in a more "mature manner" too. The first magazines specifically targeted towards lesbians appeared around this period, containing sections featuring yuri manga. These stories range from high school crush to lesbian life and love, featuring different degrees of sexual content. It is at this point (the mid 1990s) that lesbian-themed works began to be acceptable.

The later 1990s brought Oyuki Konno's Maria-sama ga Miteru, which by 2004 was a bestseller among yuri novels. This story revisits what was being written at the time of Nobuko Yoshiya: strong emotional bonds between females, mostly revolving around the school upperclassman-underclassman dynamic, like those portrayed in Class S. Another prominent author of this period is Kaho Nakayama, active since the early 1990s, with works involving love stories among lesbians. It is around this point (the early 2000s) that the first magazines speciffically dedicated to yuri manga were launched, containing stories dealing with a wide range of themes: from intense emotional connections such as that depicted in Voiceful, to more explicit school-girl romances like those portrayed in First Love Sisters, passing by realistic tales about love between adult women such as those seen in Rakuen no Jōken. Some of these subjects are seen in male-targeted works of this period as well, sometimes in combination with other themes, including mecha and science fiction. Examples include series such as Kannazuki no Miko, Blue Drop, and Kashimashi: Girl Meets Girl. In addition, male-targeted stories tend to make extensive use of moe and bishōjo characterizations.

Vocaloid

Chapter 6 - Vocaloid

mungkin kita sering denger kata Vocaloid tapi apa sih Vocaloid itu ???

ok mari sedikir me review tentang Vocaloid

History
Yamaha announced its development in 2003 and on January 15, 2004, Leon and Lola, the first application software product, were launched. It was not released as a Yamaha product, but a software package of Vocaloid Singer Libraries was developed by third party licensees which included Yamaha's Vocaloid software. Leon, Lola, and Miriam have been released from Zero-G Limited,[1] UK, while Meiko and Kaito have been released from Crypton Future Media, Japan.[2][3]

In January 2007, Yamaha announced a new version of the software engine, Vocaloid2, with various major improvements in usability and synthesis quality. Zero-G and others have announced plans to release products powered by the new software engine in 2007. PowerFX have released the first English package that is powered by Vocaloid2 named Sweet Ann. Prima was released in the UK in 2008. Crypton has followed and announced a series of character Vocaloid2 packages to be released, the first being Hatsune Miku. The second package Kagamine Rin/Len was released on December 27, 2007 and the updated edition "act2" will be released in upper July 2008. A third package will be released sometime in 2008.

Character Vocal Series

The Character Vocal Series is a computer music program that synthesizes singing in Japanese. Developed by Crypton Future Media, it utilizes Yamaha's Vocaloid2 technology with specially recorded vocals of voice actors. To create a song, the user must input the melody and lyrics. A piano roll type interface is used to input the melody and the lyrics can be entered on each note. The software can change the stress of the pronunciations, add effects such as vibrato, or change the dynamics and tone of the voice.

The series is intended for professional musicians as well as light computer music users. The programmed vocals are designed to sound like an idol singer from the future. According to Crypton, because professional singers refused to provide singing data, in fear that the software might create their singing voice's clones, Crypton changed their focus from imitating certain singers to creating characteristic vocals. This change of focus led to sampling vocals of voice actors.[4]

Each Japanese Vocaloid is given an anime-type character with specifications on age, height, weight, and musical forte (as in the type of music, range and tempo). The characters of the first two installments of the series are created by illustrator Kei.

Any rights or obligations arising from the vocals created by the software belong to the software user. Just like any music synthesizer, the software is treated as a musical instrument and the vocals as sound. Under the term of license, the Character Vocal Series software can be used to create vocals for commercial or non commercial use, as long as the vocals do not offend public policy. In other words, the user is bound under the term of license with Crypton not to synthesize derogatory or disturbing lyrics. On the other hand, copyrights to the mascot image and name belong to Crypton. Under the term of license, a user cannot commercially distribute a vocal as a song sung by the character, nor use the mascot image on commercial products, without Crypton's consent.

Hatsune Miku

Hatsune Miku (初音ミク?) is the first installment in the Vocaloid2 Character Vocal Series released on August 31, 2007. The name of the title and the character of the software was chosen by combining Hatsu (初 First?), Ne (音 Sound?), and Miku (未来 Future?).[5] The data for the voice was created by actually sampling the voice of Saki Fujita, a Japanese voice actress. Unlike general purpose speech synthesizers, the software is tuned to create J-pop songs commonly heard in anime, but it is possible to create songs from other genres.

Nico Nico Douga played a fundamental role in the recognition and popularity of the software. Soon after the release of the software, users of Nico Nico Douga started posting videos with songs created by the software. According to Crypton, a popular video with a comically-altered Miku holding a leek, singing Ievan Polkka, presented multifarious possibilities of applying the software in multimedia content creation.[6] As the recognition and popularity of the software grew, Nico Nico Douga became a place for collaborate content creation. Popular original songs written by a user would generate illustrations, animation in 2D and 3D, and remixes by other users. Other creators would show their unfinished work and ask for ideas.[7]

On October 18, 2007, an Internet BBS website reported Hatsune Miku was suspected to be victim of censorship by Google and Yahoo!, since images of Miku did not show up on the image searches.[8] Google and Yahoo denied any censorship on their part, blaming the missing images on a bug that does not only affect "Hatsune Miku" but other search keywords as well. Both companies expressed a willingness to fix the problem as soon as possible.[9] Images of Miku were relisted on Yahoo on October 19.

A Hatsune Miku manga called Maker Hikōshiki Hatsune Mix began serialization in the Japanese manga magazine Comic Rush on November 26, 2007, published by Jive. The manga is drawn by Kei, the original character designer for Hatsune Miku. A second manga called Hachune Miku no Nichijō Roipara! drawn by Ontama began serialization in the manga magazine Comp Ace on December 26, 2007, published by Kadokawa Shoten.

Her first appearance in an anime is in (Zoku) Sayonara Zetsubō Sensei, where she (and various other people and characters) try out to be the voice of a girl named Meru. For online multi-player games, the Japanese version of PangYa started a campaign with Hatsune Miku on May 22, 2008 in which she is included as one of the characters.[10][11]. Her first appearance in a video game is in 13-sai no Hello Work DS (13歳のハローワークDS?) for the Nintendo DS where she is included as one of the characters.[12][13]

Kagamine Rin and Len

Released on December 27, 2007, Kagamine Rin/Len (鏡音リン・レン?) is the second installment of the Vocaloid Character Vocal Series, a brother (Len) and sister (Rin) twin pair. Their family name was chosen by combining Kagami (鏡 Mirror?), Ne (音 Sound?), with the first syllables of their given names a pun on "Left" and "Right". According to Vocaloid's official blog, the package includes two voice banks: one for Rin and another for Len, both provided by the seiyū Asami Shimoda. Despite the double voice banks, the package still sells at the same price as Hatsune Miku.[14]

On June 12, 2008, Crypton announced the updated edition, named "act2", will be released in early July 2008. Users who had bought the old version will get an expansion disc free of charge. On June 18, 2008, beta demonstration songs using the new version were released on the company's official blog.[15]

Luka Megurine

Released on January 30th, 2009, Megurine Luka (Japanese : 巡音ルカ Megurine Luka) is the third Vocaloid2 in Crypton's character series. Her surname combines Meguri (巡, Circulate) and Ne (音, Sound), while the name Luka invokes the homonymous Japanese words of "nagare" (flowing) and "ka" (song) or "kaori" (scent). Yū Asakawa provided the "moody yet husky female voice" for the "cool, somewhat mysterious" character.

Unlike its previous two characters, Crypton advertised Luka's 3GB vocal database as "Japanese/English bilingual," and chose her name to express its hope that she will transcend borders and cultural barriers. Luka was designed by the Japanese illustrator Kei, who had previously created the designs for Hatsune Miku and Kagamine Rin and Len. However, unlike previous mascots in the series, her costume is not based on a school uniform.

Only a few days after her release, many songs were produced. On the 70th Weekly Vocaloid Ranking (February 2, 2009), many of Luka's songs appeared in the Top 30, knocking the very popular "Miku Miku ni Shite Ageru" and songs produced by ryo (with the exception of "Melt") right out of the Top 30. "RIP=RELEASE" had taken the #1 spot, and had earned a total of 843,233 points, making it the song with the highest one-week score.

Meiko

Meiko is a Vocaloid DTM (Desktop Music) software created by Crypton Future Media. She utilizes the older Vocaloid engine, the predecessor for Vocaloid2, and her voice is completely computer synthesized thus is less smooth sounding. Her voice is based on Japanese female singer Meiko Haigo's voice, which is steady, straightforward, and suitable for any musical genre. Although rougher sounding, Meiko and Kaito are able to incorporate much broader voice range than Miku and Rin/Len. She is fit to sing anything from pop, rock, jazz, and R & B to children's songs.

As a mascot character, being the counterpart of Kaito, she is also the older sister figure for the Vocaloid group. She wears red, and carries around a microphone stand. She also is frequently seen drinking from One Cup Ozeki, a sake widely available through vending machines, which serves as her character item.

Kaito

KAITO is a Vocaloid DTM (Desktop Music) software created by Crypton Future Media. He utilizes the older Vocaloid engine, the predecessor for Vocaloid2, and his voice is completely computer synthesized thus is less smooth sounding. The voice was supplied by Naoto Fuga. Although rougher sounding, Kaito and Meiko are able to incorporate much broader voice range than Miku and Rin/Len. He is fit to sing anything from hymns and children's songs to R & B and pop, though the style that he is best used for is singing pop ballads.

As a mascot character, being the counterpart of Meiko, he is also the older brother figure for the entire Vocaloid group, frequently called "nii-san", although he's not often a very good older brother figure. This can lead to him often being called "Bakaito", a portmanteau of his name and the Japanese word "baka" (idiot). KAITO is often the brunt of abuse from the 'family', often getting rolled over by the twins' road-roller (roda-rolla). He wears a white coat and a blue muffler. His character item is ice cream, which he is very fond of. In particular, he loves the Häagen Dazs brand.

In terms of relationship, he's also noted to be in some songs and many fanon as Miku's lover; however, though less prominently, he has been also paired with Meiko or Haku as well. He also has been paired frequently with Kagamine Len or even with Gakupo in yaoi fandom.

Kamui Gakupo

Musician and actor Gackt lent his voice and stage name for the creation of the newest Vocaloid, Kamui Gakupo (神威がくぽ?). Yamaha wanted to utilize the voice of a musician but felt it would be difficult to acquire cooperation. They consulted Dwango (new owner of Vocaloid publisher Internet Co. Ltd.), who suggested Gackt, as Gackt had previously provided his voice for Dwango's cell phone services.[16] Referred to alternately as Gakupoid or Gackpoid, the most recent release includes a new program, OPUS Express, for mixing vocal parts with accompaniment and phoneme data.[17] The new software will be available for download for users with registered copies of previous Vocaloids. Besides the new program, Gackpoid will include two of Gackt's songs and three example songs.[18]

The product was originally intended to be released in June 2008, but although Gackt existed as a model for the Vocaloid, it lacked an illustrated avatar to match the previous Vocaloids. Popular manga author Kentarō Miura, famous for his dark fantasy epic Berserk, was approached. Due to Miura's affection for Nico Nico Douga, he agreed to offer his services as character designer for free. As a fan of Berserk, Gackt was more than happy with this arrangement, and requested Miura's sketches be faxed to him as well as the developers, even though he was on location for the filming of Guy Moshe's Bunraku.[19] Gackpoid was released on July 31, 2008.

Gumi

Gumi (or Megpoid) is a Vocaloid voiced by Megumi Nakajima. Megpoid is powered by Yamaha's Vocaloid2 software and was published by Internet Co.. She was released on June 25, 2009. [1]. As a character, her official name is Gumi, likely grafted from her seiyuu's name. Her character item is a carrot.

She has bright green hair and wears red goggles on her head. This is a parody of both her theme color and a character that Megumi Nakajima voiced, Ranka Lee from Macross Frontier; her design is similar to Ranka Lee.[2] One of her demo songs is "Be Myself", an original song by Megumi. Her voice range is F2 - A4 and her optimum tempo is 60 - 175BPM. The design of Gumi is by the manga artist Yuki Masami.

Gumi comes with 3 demo VSQ files, Happy Birthday, BeMyself and Hitori Yurari.

Black★Rock Shooter - English Lyrics
Vocals: Hatsune Miku

Black Rock Shooter, where did you go?
Can you hear me?

How much more should I shout?
How much more should I cry?
Stop it already, I can’t run anymore
The world I once dreamed of closes up

On this pitch-black and unlit road that started to crumble
I felt like I could see the hope from back then, which shouldn’t exist

Why?

Black Rock Shooter, they were nostalgic memories
Simply of those fun times
Black Rock Shooter, but I can’t move
I wish upon the stars shooting through the darkness, because I’ll run just once more

I’m scared, so I whisper with a trembling voice, “Call my name”
The sky embracing dawn, in the distance to the boundary, I can’t reach it in another step

Tears that I fought back are about to overflow; now I come to a halt without looking down
Recalling that I know I want to live in the future
I firmly, firmly believe in it

That’s right

Black Rock Shooter, there’s a tender scent
It hurts, it’s tough; I swallow those words
Black Rock Shooter, move these feet!
Overcome the world

Since the beginning, I’d known I’m here
All of the courage inside of me light the fire

And I won’t flee anymore

Black Rock Shooter, you’re not alone
I don’t mind even if you cry with a loud voice

Black Rock Shooter, you’ll be watching me
My story will start from now

When you seem to be forgetting it, I’ll sing
This song

Black ★ Rock Shooter

Chapter 2 - Black ★ Rock Shooter
